On Saturday, September 21st beginning at 5pm the Chesterwye Foundation will host its 45th Annual Chesterwye Gala, a dinner and auction event that has continuously captured the community's support over many years.
The event will celebrate its 45th year supporting the fundraising efforts of the Chesterwye Foundation, whose mission is to support the capital needs of the Chesterwye Center. Capital initiatives include renovation of the residential homes - updating floorplans to allow for wheelchair access, installation of Hoyer Lift systems, and necessary maintenance and updates. Guests at the event will enjoy an Oyster Bar, Cash & Wine Bar, plated surf & turf dinner, an evening of dancing to the Guthrie Matthews Band, a live and silent auction, and more!
Chesterwye Center will also award the first ever Thomas J. Ewing DSP of the Year Award, recognizing the diligence and care of an exceptional Direct Support Professional at the Chesterwye Center.
