Chesterwye Drive-Thru Chicken Dinner Fundraiser

Grasonville, MD – The Chesterwye Center is bringing BACK its Drive-Thru Chicken Dinner fundraiser! The event will be hosted on Thursday, May 8^th with pick-ups possible 4:30pm – 6:30pm.

The event was last hosted in response to the limitation on gathering following the COVID pandemic. “We thought it would be fun to begin hosting these types of fundraisers once or twice a year as a way to support the Chesterwye  Foundation” shared Kathy Dubel, Chesterwye Center family member and Board Member. “We think this will be a quick and easy way for our community to show their support while getting a great meal to take home in the process!”

Each dinner includes ½ BBQ chicken, southern-style green beans, macaroni & cheese, rolls with butter, dessert, and a drink. Dinners are prepared by Chesapeake Celebrations catering. Pick-up will be a drive-through fashion with volunteers prepared to hand off pre-ordered meals on a “rolling” basis.
Tickets are now available for $25 each. Tickets are limited and available while they last. Tickets can be purchased online from www.chesterwye.org and in-person from the Chesterwye Center at 110 Chesterwye Lane, Grasonville, MD 21638. Pre-ordered dinners are available for pick up Thursday, May 8^th between 4:30pm – 6:30pm from the Chesterwye Center.

The Chesterwye Center, Inc. has been serving individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities on Maryland’s Eastern Shore since 1967.
