SECURITY OFFICER  (OPEN) (MARYLAND)

(Frontline  Officer)

$52,000 per year

Providing you work 40 hours per week for 52 weeks.

Current positions are  part-time and on call at will positions.

Duties: Physical security, outer perimeter executive security protection, marked vehicle patrols, bike patrols, foot patrols, entry control. Frontline Officers  work assignments as designated by command based on the needs of Public Security LLC. Frontline Officers work high risk assignments throughout the state. Although Frontline Officers are private security, many posts are very similar to working as a Correctional Officer, Park Ranger, Code Enforcement,  bodyguard, police and a member of the military,.

PREFERRED

*Former of current Park Ranger, Bailiff, Public Safety, Corrections

*Former or current Special Patrolman or Special Police

*Former or current Code Enforcement, Harbor Master, University Police

*Licensed Security Professional

 

REQUIRED

You may be sponsored for Security Officer Certification by Public Security LLC if you do not already have one. All Security Officers are required in the very least to have submitted their license to be a Security Officer in the state that they will operate in.

Entering employment as a trusted Security Officer is a career investment which requires mandated licensing and training. Applicants are required to be licensed Security Officers. Applicants needing to become licensed will be required to cover the costs for fingerprinting and licensing. These cost should be looked at as investing in ones self. and career. There is also Maryland state mandated training required to maintain employment with Public Security LLC.

Starting June 1st 2024, all Maryland Security Officers will be required to have the mandated 12 hour training certification. Security Officers that are already active will be required to show proof of 8 hour certification training prior to their license expiring or they will not be relicensed once expired.

If selected for further processing you will then  be fingerprinted and have your application for Maryland State Police done and ready to reviewed by Public Security management. Once your application has been reviewed by our staff, applicants are required to mail in their completed fingerprints and application to the Maryland State Police and retain proof of correspondence. 

Public Security LLC recruitment is constant year round. All applicants must first email us a basic one page resume in order to be considered for employment. We do not hire employees over the phone and we do not negotiate salary over the phone or email. 

UNDERSTANDING EMPLOYMENT WITH PUBLIC SECURITY LLC

 

We do not pay employees off the books. 

You must be a licensed Security Officer or Private Detective to begin working for Public Security LLC

Public Security LLC does not provide transportation to work sites.

You will be required to wear a suit and tie or a uniform depending on work assignment.

Working for Public Security LLC has been deemed as high risk. We serve serve clients that have significant security challenges.
