Access to Capital Series: Connecting Entrepreneurs and Small Businesses to Funding Resources
Queen Anne's County Economic & Tourism Development and the Queen Anne's County Chamber of Commerce invite you to Access to Capital: Connecting Entrepreneurs and Small Businesses to Funding Resources. This educational program is designed to help entrepreneurs, startups, and small business owners understand, prepare for, and successfully access the capital needed to start, sustain, and grow their businesses. The series brings together experts from government agencies, nonprofit lending organizations, financial institutions, and economic development organizations to provide practical guidance on funding options, lender expectations, financial readiness, and available business assistance programs.
Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of traditional and alternative financing sources, learn how to prepare for conversations with lenders and investors, and discover local, state, and federal resources that can support business growth. Through presentations, panel discussions, and Q&A sessions, attendees will leave with actionable steps and valuable connections to advance their funding goals.
The event will include representatives and programs from the Small Business Development Center, Maryland Department of Commerce, Maryland Capital Enterprises, Small Business Administration and Department of Housing and Community Development. A bankers panel will also include representatives from M&T Bank, Shore United Bank and Queenstown Bank of Maryland.
