37th Annual BAY MUSIC FESTIVAL Moves ...
Description
The Centreville Lions Club is pleased to host the 37th annual Bay Music Festival. This year’s festival features thirteen acts playing on two stages. Please plan now to come out for an incredible day of great music and fun!
This year’s lineup has eight acts making their first appearance including the Eric Karge Band, locally based band and winner of the 2014 Maryland Country Music Award; SwampCandy, winner of the 2015 world renown Floydfest Music Festival in Va. with their powerful rootsy Delta blues; and D’Vibe & Conga, a hot rhythmic rock regional band. Also appearing for the first time will be Savage Cabbage, Deal With It, Jordan Aurora and Will McCollum, all winners of battles of the bands in the Annapolis area with Priddy Music Academy plus Julianna Cianchetta, a very talented local singer.
Previous acts include the very popular Chris Sacks Band who will be bringing their breezy Caribbean style music to the park, Mac ‘n’ Blue featuring “Mac” Priddy, Lee Priddy on lead and the Priddy guys with their high energy blues; 2nd Chair, a young locally based trio who lit it up last year with their incredible musicianship; Sarah Paige and Jillian Taylor, two extremely talented young singer songwriters making their 3rd appearance as well as the ever popular regionally acclaimed Tracey Eldridge with her sets of children’s music.
Thanks to our presenting sponsor Coors Light plus other local faithful sponsors we are able to make this an incredible bargain for families with a $10 cover and children 15 and under FREE! Any additional donations will be appreciated as this event is the sole provider of the funds used by the Centreville Lions Club to serve our community through its sight related outreach.
In addition to all the entertainment there will be plenty of cold beverages, food trucks featuring pulled pork & beef, crab cakes (and more), tacos, French fries, hamburgers, hot dogs, and ice cream to satisfy any appetite, again at very affordable prices. There will be plenty of children’s activities including children’s music shows by Tracey Eldridge and activities led by the YMCA of Centreville, exhibits, face painting, balloon art, Moon bounce, plus craft vendors. We will be raffling off an autographed PRS SE Custom 22 this year at the Festival!
For info please check out our website at www.baymusicfestival.com, our Centreville Lions Club Facebook event page or call 410-604-2100. All proceeds benefit the Centreville Lions Club and also the Wilmer Eye Clinic. Please come for for a great day of fun in the park while you support sight related projects for our community. Please no coolers, alcohol or pets allowed to be brought into the event. We do encourage chairs, picnic tables are available, and the event is rain or shine as plenty of cover is also available and parking is free. Please, come on out!
