About Us

The Queen Anne’s County Library (QACL) is a vibrant community hub dedicated to inspiring lifelong learning, connecting residents with resources, and enriching the quality of life throughout Queen Anne’s County. With branches in Centreville and Kent Island, and the Mobile Library with stops throughout the community, QACL provides free access to books, technology, educational programming, meeting spaces, digital resources, and innovative tools for all ages.

Beyond traditional library services, QACL supports local businesses, entrepreneurs, and workforce development through technology access, professional resources, workshops, and collaborative community partnerships. The library also offers dynamic programming including early literacy initiatives, summer reading, makerspace opportunities, social services outreach, and cultural events that bring the community together.
